May Favorites: Books and Blogs
I'm excited to bring you some of my favorite blogs, books, and websites. These are the people that I have found interesting and useful on my dream journey. I hope you will too!
1. Author and teacher, Robert Moss. I began taking workshops with Robert about 9 years ago and quickly fell in love with his thoughtful words and shamanic approach to dreaming. His book Conscious Dreaming: A Spiritual Path for Everyday Life started it all for me and led me on the path of dream exploration. Check out his website mossdreams.com to read his blog or find one of his many online classes.
2. Charlie Morley, author teaches shadow integration and lucid dreaming. I picked up his book Dreaming through Darkness after one of my fellow dreamers mentioned him in our dream group. I found Charlie's style down to earth style reassuring. His techniques are clear and concise. Find more on Charlie at his website charliemorley.com.
3. International Association for the Study of Dreams. This is a great non-profit, international organization that has a ton of articles and links to authors. They are dedicated to exploring the nature, function, and significance of dreaming. They're website is: www.asdreams.org.
4. Psychiatrist and dream explorer, Carl Jung. This book came about when Jung had a dream that his work was meant to be understood by a wider audience than just psychiatrists. Written just before his death, Man and His Symbols examines the unconscious and its use of symbols in dreams. A must read for those interested in dreams and symbolism.
5. Author Stase Michaels. A Little Bit of Dreams. This book by Stase Michaels is a quick read that helps beginners explore dreamwork in five simple steps. I picked this book up on a whim and quickly gave out as gifts to introduce friends and family to dream techniques.
